- What is Behavioral Rates?
- A membership that turns public CMS Transparency-in-Coverage in-network files, joined to the NPPES facility registry, into p25 / median / p75 distributions for behavioral-health facility services. Every figure travels with its payer and facility sample.
- Where do the numbers come from?
- Commercial health plans publish negotiated in-network rates in federal Transparency-in-Coverage machine-readable files. Facility identity and class come from the NPI registry (NPPES). Medicaid managed care and Medicare Advantage are out of scope.
- Does this tell me what to charge or ask for?
- No. The product shows published distributions. It never suggests, ranks, or endorses a rate, a payer, or a negotiation target. A difference between two medians is not a suggestion.
- Why don’t the public pages show dollar amounts?
- Public pages show the layout — map, drawer, search, nearby, compare, and print. Amounts appear after you subscribe. That keeps the marketing site a demonstration of the product, not a free rate table.
- Which levels of care are included?
- Detox, residential substance use, residential mental health, PHP, and IOP. Each level of care keeps its own distribution. They are never averaged together.
